I have a dog training business in California. I flew out to North Carolina from California to learn from Ryan as part of a personal continuing education program. Ryan is an amazing trainer of dogs and a teacher of people! So much so, that it is difficult to form the words to describe him. Ryan’s passion for dogs and his commitment to helping people is overwhelming. I think one would be hard pressed to find a better trainer in this entire country.

My wife and I purchased our first Mal “Chase” in March of 2016 at the age of 9 weeks . We attempted basic obedience commands at home with a little misguidance from the internet. At around 5 months of age, we took the recommendation of a friend to contact Ryan for some help. Honestly, the best decision we have made! We gave Ryan a call and within the week we met for a consultation. Meeting Ryan in person, it was evident the tremendous talent and passion he has for training. Before Ryan, we trained without proper knowledge and unknowingly expected too much composure which did not foster building drive nor was it making training fun for our little pup. Within the 2 months my wife and Chase have been training with Ryan, his wisdom and guidance has produced remarkable results! Training is now fun for Chase and we have seen improvements in drive. He is doing commands we never thought possible! The biggest mistake was not contacting Ryan sooner! We recommend AweDogs 110%!!! The wealth of knowledge is unbelievable! We could not be happier! We are so happy we found Ryan and so appreciative for all of his help with our dog, Stanley. Stanley was on two anti-anxiety medications before we met Ryan (he is off of them now). We could not take him on walks without excessive barking and lunging at other dogs/people. We could not vacuum or clean the house easily due to him attacking the vacuum/swiffer, etc. He was constantly stressed out and had to be heavily medicated to relax. He didn’t want to play with our other dog anymore. Not only have our lives improved after having Stanley being trained by Ryan, but also Stanley is a much happier dog that is enjoying life! We still have work to do but we are so excited for the future now. The difference he can make in even a few minutes with a dog is incredible.
