Meet Meredith, our newest trainer providing dog training services in Charlotte, NC. Meredith has been a dedicated dog trainer for 10 years, with her journey beginning in California. During this time, she had the privilege of mentoring under skilled behaviorists at the University of California, Davis (UCD), which shaped her comprehensive understanding of canine behavior. Meredith’s training philosophy is rooted in a balanced approach that combines positive reinforcement with a deep understanding of dogs’ needs, always leading with kindness and compassion.

She has experience working with all types of dogs but has a special passion for training puppies, helping them build strong foundations for a lifetime of success. Additionally, Meredith has worked with many reactive dogs, using patience and tailored techniques to help them overcome challenges and thrive in their environments.

Outside of training, Meredith enjoys spending time with her own dogs: Fig, a 4-year-old Golden Retriever, and Guava, a 2-year-old Miniature Dachshund. Together, they compete in various dog sports, including disc, conformation, field trials, and dock diving. Before discovering her love for dog training, Meredith was a professional video game player, and she still enjoys gaming in her free time. She recently relocated to North Carolina from Northern California, excited to continue her work in a new community.
